Catalytic Gas Detection – MultiXplo


The MultiXplo DM-TX6 intelligent catalytic sensor based flammable gas detector used to detect a wide range of gases, including Hydrogen (H2). The device has been designed for ease of installation, operation and maintenance in testing environments.

  • OXYCOL (TM) Catalytic Sensor
    The measurement process is based on OXYCOL (TM) low temperature catalytic oxidation, improving detection flammable gases and gives the detector an extremely long lifetime. This technology also improves the resistance to catalytic poisons.
  • Simplicity
    The interchangeable and removable cartridges simplifies maintenance.
  • Remote Control
    All controls, configurations and readouts are remotely accessible from the infrared remote controller.
  • An Autonomous Detector
    The digital processing linearises the measurement signal before transmitting it to a gas detection unit or plant automatic control system. Detectors have both analog and contact outputs.

The large detection spectrum enables the use of the oxidations catalytic sensor in a large scope of applications such as: Storage of flammable materials, petrochemicals, LNG/LPG, automobile industry, chemicals, pharmaceuticals, aerosols, etc. The low cost of catalytic oxidation sensors in semi-industrial applications such as: Battery loading premises, boiler rooms, pharmaceutical laboratories, etc.
