Marine Tank Gauging System

Tank gauging panel using digital LED display panel is suitable when the number of tanks to be monitored is small. In this system, digital LED panel meter will be used to process and display the tank level based on the current signal from each tank level transmitter. Panel meter with alarm set point relay output is also available to activate beacon or buzzer for critical tanks.

The power of PLC and HMI panel offers a very compact and flexible tank gauging system. Current signals (4 to 20mA) from the tank level transmitters will be connected directly to the tank gauging panel. The PLC will then process the current signals and the HMI panel will display data such as level, volume, weight of the liquid inside individual tank. Transmission of tank gauging data to vessel monitoring system (VMS) by Ethernet or RS485 communication is also available.

Low & high tank level alarms can also be implemented. Height compensation and SG adjustment functions are also available. Alarm groupings and alarm history list are provided as a standard package. Draft gauging can also be easily be integrated into this kind of system. Information obtains from the draft gauging will be used to display the Trim & List.
